The last few weeks have been crazy for Alistair Overeem and it was capped off yesterday with the former Strikeforce Heavyweight champion filing a lawsuit. TMZ.com reports that “The Reem” filed suit on Wednesday against his management team, Golden Glory for misleading him. After signing with the UFC in September, Overeem had another lawyer look over his contract. It was then that they found discrepancies from what Golde Glory had told the new UFC fighter. That and the fact that Golden Glory apparently owes ‘The Demolition Man’ over $151,000 in back pay.
After announcing his split from Golden Glory last month, Overeem has relocated his training camp to Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas in preparation for his upcoming battle with Brock Lesnar at UFC 141.
