Braulio Estima and Anthony Johnson Earn W’s in Titan FC

Accomplished and decorated BJJ practicioner, Braulio Estima, won his MMA debut on Titan FC Friday night. He defeated Chris Holland with an arm triangle choke at Titan FC 24 in Kansas City.

When the fight started, Estima looked as though he was wobbled by an early combo from Holland. But it didn’t take long for the fight to get to ground where Estima made quick work of Holland and finished him with an arm triangle. Holland held on instead of tapping, and went unconscious. Braulio secured the technical submission in the first round at 3:21 notching his first MMA win.

Former UFC welterweight Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (12-4, MMA) also made his debut at 205 with Titan FC against Esteves Jones.  Rumble looked impressive at light heavyweight landing some hard strikes and taking down Jones at will. At :51 seconds in the 2nd round, Johnson finished off Jones with some strikes from side control and took home his second win since being cut by the UFC.

He said in his post fight interview with Pat Miletich that he was still adjusting to his new weight class, but that he was doing everything he had to do to win fights.  Both Estima and Johnson trained with the Blackzilians camp in Florida prior to their fights.

I hail from San Jose, CA & received my Journalism degree from Santa Clara University. I moved to NYC where I supervised the Sirius-XM newsroom. I'd go in on my days off to work with The Fight Club. There I started reporting for MMA. In Sept 2010, I started working with MMA Fight Corner and now report for them in Las Vegas.
