According to a report from Newsday and FoxSports.com, UFC middleweight contenders, Chris Weidman and Tim Boetsch are set to wage war at UFC 155. The two are said to have verbal agreements in place for the December 29 card in Las Vegas, NV.
The undefeated Weidman (9-0, MMA) has been campaigning for a shot at the title since TKO’ing Mark Munoz at UFC on FUEL in July. Tim Boetsch (16-4) recently spoiled the much hyped UFC debut of Hector Lombard who was on a 25 fight win streak until Boestch defeated him via split decision at UFC 149. Since dropping to middleweight, Boetsch has been on a 4-fight win streak.
Weidman and Boetsch are expected to be on the main card of UFC 155. The main event for the Dec 29th card is Junior dos Santos vs Cain Velasquez 2 in a bout for the UFC heavyweight title.

Forrest Griffin vs Chael Sonnen
Phil De Fries vs Matt Mitrione
