Sarah Kaufman has suffered an injury that will keep her out of making her debut with Invicta  3, according to Invicta FC officials. Kaufman has never had to withdraw from a fight, but promises that she will return to meet her scheduled opponent, Kaitlin Young, when she’s back to full health.

For the time being, Young will rematch Leslie Smith.  The two faced off at Invicta’s inaugural fight card in April and the fight resulted in a draw. When Young and Smith last fought, it drew Fight of the Night honors from the promotion.

Women’s bantamweight, Raquel Pennington will step in to face Kim Connor-Hamby who’s making her debut with the promotion also on October 6th in Kansas City’s Memorial Hall with Invicta FC 3.
