LAS VEGAS - This Saturday, Oct. 13, when Muay Thai rules go into full effect at Lion Fight 7 and the WBC title fights between Jeri Sitzes and Tiffany Van Soest and Anthony Castrejon and Andy Singh hit the ring, two martial arts experts will be front and center calling all the exciting live action.
Lion Fight today announced that David Huey will return as the promotion’s lead analyst calling all the play-by-play action, while Heidi Fang, co-host of “The MMA Fight Corner” show on Fox Sports Radio in Las Vegas makes her professional debut as a fight color commentator.“After commentating hundreds of fights, I know you’re as only good as the fighters that perform,” said Huey. “Lion Fight has put together an exciting action packed card with the top Muay Thai fighters so I’m excited to bring you interesting, entertaining and informative play-by-play action. Huey is known as the voice of Muay Thai for his work hosting the Muay Thai World Stand-off, M-1 Grand Muay Thai and the International Fight Showdown. As the owner of Muay Thai America Gym in North Hollywood and coach/manager to champion fighters such as Baxter “The One-Armed Bandit” Humby, Sheldon Gaines, and Malaipet Sasiprapa, Huey brings more than a dozen years of experience in the art of Muay Thai to broadcasting.Heidi Fang works at MMA Fight Corner as a co-host, field reporter and writer. Previously, she worked as one of the few women ever hired full time in Sirius-XM’s Sports Department. Her career started with Sirius-XM as part-time, working as a audio technician for the NFL channel, college sports and Sirius-XM’s Fight Club in 2007. Heidi was eventually promoted to become Sirius XM’s Sports Newsroom Supervisor in New York City.

Heidi is no stranger to fighting, as she began training in Tae Kwon Do in her native San Jose, Calif. at just nine years of age. Over the years, she built a solid reputation through her exceptional work with top media outlets in the country including NBC, ABC & the WB in the San Francisco Bay Area, and CBS and Sirius XM in New York. She also reported for and appeared on Sirius XM’s Fight Club. Heidi lives in Las Vegas and is an avid fan of boxing, kickboxing, MMA and Muay Thai.
Lion Fight will bring its thrilling, action-packed brand of traditional Muay Thai fighting back to The Joint inside the world famous Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for a night of fights on Saturday, Oct. 13 featuring WBC Light Heavyweight Interim World Muay Thai Champion Joe Schilling (13-3) vs. the aggressive and hard hitting Eddie Walker (8-1) as the headlining main event, and Joe Valtellini vs. Gregory Choplin as the featured co-main match-up.
