A press release from Spike TV and their parent company Viacom announced Tuesday that UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture has signed into a partnership with them. According to Loretta Hunt of SI.com, Couture has signed a multi-year contract that includes several TV appearances and a coaching stint on Bellator’s MMA reality series.
More news will be announced that will reveal the full extent of the partnership details on Tuesday, February 5th when Spike TV hosts a conference call with Randy Couture addressing the media. Just like he was with The Ultimate Fighter, it’s believed that Couture will be one of the first coaches for Bellator’s version of an MMA reality series when the show launches.
Since retiring from fighting, Randy has appeared in several motion pictures including both Expendables and Hijacked. He also served as an analyst for the UFC for several fight cards.
