The UFC’s official Twitter account announced Tuesday night that lightweights Jim Miller (22-4, MMA) and Pat Healy (29-16, MMA) are set to square off in New Jersey’s Prudential Center on April 27th at UFC 159.
The booking brings another Strikeforce fighter in to make his debut against a seasoned veteran of the Octagon. In his last fight which earned Fight of the Night honors, Miller punished Joe Lauzon through three rounds and took home the decision win. Miller is 8-2 in his last 10 fights.
“Bam Bam” Healy went 7-1 in Strikeforce and enters the Octagon fresh off a victory over Kurt Holobaugh on the final Strikeforce fight card. Though Healy has fought in various promotions including the IFL and MFC, this will be his UFC debut.
UFC 159 will be headlined by a UFC Light Heavyweight Championship fight between Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.
