Ireland’s Neil Seery (14-10) heads to Sydney, Australia’s Allphones Arena to clash with Richie Vaculik (10-2) on Nov. 8. The flyweight steps in as a replacement for Ray Borg who withdrew from the fight due to undisclosed reasons.
News of the change was announced on UFC.com.
Vaculik hails from New South Wales in Australia. Through two UFC appearances, “Vas” is 1-1. The 31-year-old earned his first win in the Octagon when he defeated Roldan Sangcha-an in New Zealand in July.
Seery also looks to add a second win to his UFC career. In his native Dublin, “2 Tap” took a decision over Phil Harris in July. To date, Seery is 1-1 in the UFC.
UFC Fight Night 55 will be headlined by middleweight rivals Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping. The entire event will air on UFC Fight Pass.
