UFC Fight Night 61 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, has a new main event slated for the Feb. 22 fight card.

Brazil’s Glover Teixeira suffered an injury forcing him out of the planned main event against Rashad Evans. Frank Mir (16-9) vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (18-6, 1 NC) has now been shifted into the main event. Originally, the heavyweight affair was scheduled for UFC 184 on Feb. 28.

MMAFighting.com first broke the news. MMAFightCorner.com was able to confirm the switch with sources close to the fight.

As per a report from Sherdog.com,  Evans will not remain on the card.

Mir, who also serves as a co-host on The Fight Corner, has lost four straight contests. In his last outing, he confronted Alistair Overeem and dropped a decision. Silva is coming off of a knockout loss to Andrei Arlovski and is 0-2-1 in his last few fights.

The heavyweight tilt between Mir and Silva will serve as the main event at the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Brazil on Feb. 22. FOX Sports 1 is expected to air the main card.
