UFC 189: Aldo vs. McGregor – July 11, 2015 – MGM Grand Garden Arena

Another high-stakes featherweight showdown is set for UFC 189. Dennis Bermudez will look to right his ship against Jeremy Stephens in Las Vegas on July 11.

Bermudez had been steamrolling through the competition in the 145-division. The 28-year-old TUF 13 finalist had notched a signature win over Clay Guida and put on a war against Matt Grice. Then he saw his 7-fight win streak snapped at the hands of Ricardo Lamas last November. The Long Island native will look to get back on track against “Lil Heathen”.

Stephens will look to make a comeback from a pair of losses in his last two outings. The Alliance MMA product dropped back-to-back decisions to Cub Swanson and Charles Oliveira respectively. To start his run at featherweight in the UFC, the 28-year-old fighter was 3-0.

UFC 188: Velasquez vs. Werdum – June 13, 2015 – Mexico City Arena

TUF 19’s Hector Urbina will look to make a stand against Albert Tumenov in Mexico City. “El Toro”  made his UFC debut in the same venue in November last year. He submitted Edgar Garcia inside of the first round.

Tumenov, 23, is a knockout artist who will hope to secure his fourth straight victory in the Octagon. Thus far the Russian product has earned two KO finishes in his UFC career. He last battled Nico Musoke and saw a unanimous decision in his favor.
