Over 100,000 tuned into the Invicta Fighting Championships, MMA’s 1st all-female fight card’s live stream last night. Headlining the event was former Strikeforce bantamweight champion Marloes Coenen (20-5), who defeated her opponent, Romy Ruyssen (5-2), via unanimous decision (30-26 x3). This also marked the second time that Coenen defeated Ruyssen. The much anticipated rematch of Benson Henderson vs Frankie Edgar for the UFC lightweight championship has been booked for UFC 150 - MMAJunkie.com first reported the news. According to Luke Thomas of MMA Fighting, UFC welterweight Nick Diaz has sued the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). The lawsuit (all files provided by SB Nation), filed by Diaz’s lawyer Ross Goodman, states that the NSAC violated statutory laws and Diaz’s Constitutional rights to Due Process. The first statutory violation in Diaz’s lawsuit relates to the length of time the NSAC had to take action on Diaz’s suspension. It took nearly two hours from the beginning of Overeem’s hearing for the Nevada State Athletic Commission to decide his fate. He came before the commission for the licensing hearing after testing positive for elevated testosterone in March 2012.
